The COVID-19 pandemic has forced schools and families to adapt quickly and many resources are being created for school personnel and parents who have been thrust into new roles.

Since the amount of information can be overwhelming, Schools Empowering At-Risk Students (SEAS) project with the Clearinghouse for Military Family Readiness at Penn State has curated a small collection of free toolkits from outside organizations, agencies, and companies to help schools respond to the needs of military families (and families in general) during the pandemic. Resources were identified, vetted, and selected based on utility, applicability, reputability of the developer, and evidence and can be found at https://schoolresources.militaryfamilies.psu.edu/resources/covid-19/.

SEAS is partnering with the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) on projects related to student support services such as suicide prevention and threat assessment. As part of that effort, the Clearinghouse developed and maintains Resources for Military-Connected Schools to connect school personnel with evidence-based resources to support military-connected students.
